Lethun

Lethun is a database of all laws and regulations, decisions, memos, instructions and procedures of higher courts that are required to be examined, studied, referred to and followed in the administration of the criminal justice system.

Online Services

The website has been designed to ensure that letters, forms and other documents sent to this office by the public, defence lawyers and state agencies are easily, safely and quickly accepted and their responses are made available at the earliest.

Introduction to the Office

The Prosecutor General’s Office was established in accordance with Article 220 of the Constitution ratified on 07 August 2008, which stipulates that there shall be an independent and impartial Prosecutor General in Maldives.
